What it does
Midgarda gives service companies one system of record. Dispatchers schedule
and assign jobs, technicians work them in the field, inventory moves with
the work, and completed jobs flow straight into billing. Every tenant's data
is isolated at the database level, so one deployment securely serves many
companies.
Highlights
- Multi-tenant by design — Postgres row-level security enforces tenant isolation in the database itself, not just in application code.
- Dispatch & scheduling — assign, track, and manage field jobs from a dedicated dispatch interface.
- Inventory management — parts and stock tracked alongside the jobs that consume them.
- Customer management & billing — full customer records connected to job history and invoicing.
- Three clients, one codebase — admin/dispatch web app, a Tauri-based desktop app for macOS and Windows, and a mobile PWA for technicians in the field.
- End-to-end type safety — shared TypeScript types and Zod schemas validate data identically across the web app, API, and mobile clients.

- Sep 2026 — Current platform: multi-tenant CRM with dispatch and scheduling, inventory, customer records and billing, served as a Next.js web app, a Tauri desktop app for macOS and Windows, and a technician PWA, all sharing one TypeScript/Zod type system over a Supabase/Postgres backend with row-level security. (all clients)
- Jul 2026 — Development began: the multi-tenant foundation — database schema with row-level security, authentication, tenant management and the v1 API. (web)
